What's cooking Wednesday

A delicious recipe for you

I know that it's fall and soups and comfort food are beginning to creep into our kitchens, but I noticed the other days while at the grocery store that grapes are super cheap right now and I have an AMAZING recipe that you must try! It does come with a warning though - if you make it, you WILL want to eat more of it,and so will your guests.

Grape salad

2lbs green grapes

2lb red grapes

8oz cream cheese

8oz sour cream

1/2 Cup sugar

1tsp vanilla

topping

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup crushed pecans

1/. Mix sour cream, cream cheese, white sugar and vanilla by hand until blended. Carefully stir grapes into the mixture (no need to cut them unless you're serving it to small children).

2/. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and pecans and sprinkle over grapes. Chill over night.

Sorry there is no photo to go with this post. This is more of a dessert salad. I got this recipe from Mike's aunt over the Summer and you cannot believe how many times other people have asked me for the recipe. Try it now while the grapes are cheap!
